I have to share something we recently tried — Code Ninjas Tracy. If your kids are into gaming, building, or are naturally curious about how things work (like mine!), this place is a game-changer.
We visited not really knowing what to expect. But right away, I could tell this wasn’t just a regular class or camp. It felt like walking into a fun clubhouse — except instead of just playing games, kids were building them. My child got to code and learn things I honestly wish I knew how to do — like building apps, designing games, and even working with robotics.
Here’s why I’m such a fan:
- The curriculum is designed like a video game — they literally “level up” as they learn.
- It’s STEM learning in disguise — my kid thinks it’s just fun, but I know they’re building real-world skills.
- It’s a super welcoming and positive space, and the instructors (they call them “Code Senseis”) are amazing with kids.
- There’s no pressure or stress, just lots of encouragement and creativity.
Code Ninjas also offers flexible drop-in times and they have summer camps! (yes, please!).
