Each month, we love shining a light on local teachers who are working hard to bring creativity, technology, and hands-on learning into their classrooms. Through DonorsChoose, families have the chance to directly support these projects and make a real difference for students right here in Mountain House, Manteca, and Tracy.
This October, let’s rally behind these amazing teachers and help bring their classroom dreams to life!
Featured Projects This Month
1. Because Teenagers Forget Stuff but Literacy Still Matters – Ms. Rockey Tracy High School
Help me give my students an organized literacy center for their writing folders and notebooks. The sturdy cart will easily store the crates that hold all the time, effort, and heart contained in their notebooks and zipper files.
2. STEM Kits –Ms. Val Louis Bohn Elementary School
Help me give my students STEM safety essentials like protective eyewear and lab coats for fun STEM experiments.
3. STEM in 1st Grade – Mrs. Meahan George McParland School
Help me give my students more access to STEM Resources in the classroom!
4. Book Buddies & Busy Fingers – Mrs. Deus New Haven Elementary School
Help me give my students a storage bench, floor cushions, books, magnetic tiles, and more to grow their minds through reading and fine motor tasks.
5. Take a Seat for Science: Lab Stools for Future Scientists – Ms. Rai Altamont Elementary School
Help me give my students lab stools to set up Science lab in my school. This will help them sit on a comfortable stool and work without having the hassle of moving their chairs around.

✨ Why It Matters
When we invest in our teachers, we invest in our kids. These projects bring resources into classrooms that otherwise might not be possible. Together, we can help give local students the tools, experiences, and opportunities they deserve.
Let’s make this October extra special for our educators—because a little support goes a long way in shaping a brighter future. 💙
