I’m 36 years young and have been rooted in the 209 Tracy/Manteca area since I was very young, so this community truly feels like home to me. I’m a proud mom to my 16-year-old son, Keith, who keeps me grounded and motivated every day. I’m also blessed with an incredibly supportive boyfriend, Patrick, who has been my biggest cheerleader throughout my journey. I’m a total social butterfly, love connecting with people, and have a deep appreciation for music of all genres….it’s always playing in the background of my life.
✨ What inspired you to start your business (or get into your field)?
I had the opportunity to work closely with a group of friends in a small business, and through that experience I realized I wanted to build something of my own. I’ve always been drawn to beautiful smiles and truly believe that a smile can completely change how someone feels about themselves. When I decided to whiten my own teeth and started researching the service, it sparked something in me. I realized this was something I could do part-time, on my own terms, and before I knew it, I was all in and loving every step of the process.
🗓️ What does a typical day look like for you as a mom and business owner?
I currently work a 9–5 career as a community manager, so my days are full and fast-paced. I’m constantly balancing my career, my business, and running a household that depends on me. Weekdays are usually structured and routine, work, school, and family responsibilities, while weekends look a little different. Some weekends I’m fully booked with pop-ups or in-person appointments, and others I intentionally slow down, reset, and recharge so I can show up as my best self.
🏆 What has been the most rewarding part of running your business?
The most rewarding part is simply knowing it’s mine. Every win, every lesson, and every milestone belongs to me. I get to make the decisions, take accountability, and grow something from the ground up. There’s something incredibly empowering about knowing no one can take this away from me.
⚖️ What challenges have you faced balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship, and how do you handle them?
Time is definitely the biggest challenge. Trying to fit everything into the same 24 hours we all get can be overwhelming at times. Time management is always a priority, because not only does your income need attention, but your family, your home, and your personal well-being do too. I’ve learned to stay organized, be intentional with my time, and give myself grace when things don’t go perfectly.
💡 What advice would you give to other moms thinking about starting their own business?
Just do it. Don’t overthink or spend too much time analyzing every possible outcome. Start with passion, not just profit. If you’re doing something you genuinely love, the growth and the money will come naturally over time.
❤️ How do you and your family like to spend time together when you're not working?
We enjoy all the simple and meaningful moments, from movie nights and vacations to sitting together in comfortable silence while scrolling on our phones. Sometimes it’s not about what we’re doing, but just being together. That sense of comfort and connection means everything to us.
