Yearn 2 Learn Academy (Y2L Academy) is a local learning center in Lathrop, CA helping
students in grades K–8 build strong academic foundations and confidence through small-
group instruction, personalized learning plans, and consistent progress tracking. We are
also home to (Seriously Addictive Mathematics) S.A.M. Singapore Math – Lathrop, bringing
the well-known Singapore Math approach to families in our community.
WHAT WE OFFER
• Math Enrichment & Skill-Building (K–8): Singapore Math-inspired instruction focused on
deep understanding, problem solving, and mastery—not memorization.
• Assessments & Placement: We start with a skills check/assessment so families know
exactly where their child stands and what support will help most.
• Small-Group Tutoring & Academic Support: Focused coaching for students who need
foundation repair, confidence-building, or targeted support in specific skills.
• Enrichment Programs: Seasonal programs and workshops may include Chess, Creative
Writing, Public Speaking & Debate, and introductory programming/Python (offerings vary
by session).
• Summer Camps: Morning and afternoon camp options designed to keep students learning
and engaged with structured academics, critical thinking, and fun activities.
OUR APPROACH
We keep groups small so students receive attention, feedback, and encouragement. Our
teaching is structured, supportive, and goal-driven. Families appreciate that we provide
clear next steps, consistent practice, and progress updates so improvements are visible over
time.
WHO WE SERVE
Y2L Academy is a great fit for students who are struggling and need foundation repair,
doing “okay” but want stronger skills and confidence, or are ready for enrichment and
advanced problem solving. We welcome local families from Lathrop, Mountain House,
Tracy, Manteca, and nearby communities.
